Life alert system

One button.
Once a day.
Someone knows.

CŌDE BLUE works by silence. Press once each day to say you're fine. If the button isn't pressed, your family hears about it — even if the phone is off, lost, or out of reach.

01 · How it works

Silence is the alarm.

Traditional alert systems need a working connection at the worst possible moment. CŌDE BLUE turns that around. The only thing that has to get through is a daily "I'm OK." If nothing gets through, that is the signal.

01

Press once a day

From the pendant, the app, or both. Whichever is closer. The first press of the day counts.

02

The window closes

You choose the time. If the day's check-in hasn't arrived, a gentle reminder goes to the phone and the pendant first.

03

Family is called

Still nothing after the grace period? Your contacts get a text, an email, and a call. They reply with one word: reached them, or send help.

04

Help, when family says so

Emergency services are contacted only when your family asks for it, or when nobody can be reached at all. Never on a guess.

02 · Why it's different

Nothing to test. Nothing to pair.

Older systems fail quietly: a dead line looks exactly like a quiet day. With CŌDE BLUE, a dead line looks exactly like a missed check-in — so it gets a response.

Traditional alert pendant

  • Needs a live phone line or cellular signal at the moment of the fall.
  • Depends on one monitoring center picking up.
  • Base station and pendant must stay paired and tested.
  • If the connection is down, nobody finds out.
  • Multi-year contracts and equipment fees are common.

CŌDE BLUE

  • The alarm is the absence of a check-in. A dead phone triggers help instead of hiding it.
  • Several independent watchers track every account. Any one can be down and the alerts still go out.
  • Nothing to pair, nothing to test. Press the button; that's the whole routine.
  • Your family stays in the loop and in control of when help is sent.
  • Month to month. Clear pricing.
03 · Devices

Any button counts.

Every device on the account speaks to the same daily check-in. Use one or use all of them. Whichever is pressed first satisfies the day.

The pendant

Worn on the wrist or around the neck. Waterproof for the shower. Its own cellular connection, so it works without a phone or Wi-Fi. Battery lasts for months.

one press · batt months · no phone needed

The app

One screen, one large button, and the time the window closes. Nothing to set up on the phone itself — family handles setup from their own device.

iPhone · Android · large type

Quiet check-ins

A plug on the coffee maker or a sensor on the front door can count as the day's check-in, so a normal morning never needs a button at all.

Coming later
04 · For families

You set it up. They press a button.

An adult child or caregiver creates the account, adds the contacts, picks the daily window, and hands over a pendant or a phone with one screen on it. The person wearing it never sees a settings page.

When a check-in is missed, contacts are reached in the order you choose. Every message asks one plain question and accepts a one-word answer. A dashboard shows the last check-in, who has been contacted, and who has answered.

Calls are placed by an automated assistant that says so up front, explains what happened, and listens for your answer. It never decides to send emergency services on its own.

06 · Questions

Plain answers.

Does she need a smartphone?
No. The pendant has its own cellular connection and works on its own. The app is there for people who prefer it, or as a second button.
What happens if she simply forgets to press it?
A reminder goes to the pendant and the phone when the window is about to close. Then there's a grace period. Only after both pass does the family get contacted — and a family member can close the alert with one reply.
What if the phone is dead or she's traveling?
A dead phone doesn't hide a missed check-in; it causes one, which is the point. For trips, family can pause the account or skip a set number of days from the dashboard.
Will it call 911 on its own?
No. Emergency services are contacted when a family member requests it, or when every contact has been tried and no one can be reached within the time you set. Your family decides.
Is there a button to press in an emergency?
The first release is a daily check-in system. A dedicated help button on the pendant is planned for a later release. CŌDE BLUE is not a replacement for calling 911 in an emergency.
Is this a medical device?
No. CŌDE BLUE is a check-in and notification service. It does not monitor health, detect falls, or provide medical care, and it collects no health information.
Who sees the information?
Contacts and messages are stored encrypted and shown only to the family members on the account. The check-in record itself is kept on an independent, tamper-evident ledger so no one — including us — can alter the history.
